A clear process. A shared understanding.
We agree what the work involves, who owns each decision and how you will keep visibility before we start.
Start with the work.
Define the way forward.
An operations engagement covers an agreed recurring workflow. It does not require a custom software project.
Tell us what is consuming your team’s time
Identify the recurring work and the people currently responsible.
We map the workflow
Agree the scope, systems, responsibilities, working hours, approvals, escalation and quality checks.
We take over the agreed work
Astrino works within your existing tools and processes wherever practical.
You keep visibility
Receive clear updates, reporting and escalation when your decisions are needed.
Expand when there is a useful need
Start with one defined workflow and expand based on the agreed review.
From business need
to an agreed tool.
A software project has its own deliverables, scope, milestones and acceptance criteria. It can stand alone or sit alongside operational support.
Discuss Your Software ProjectOwnership, licensing, source code, hosting, third party costs and ongoing support are agreed individually. Integrations and timelines depend on the requirements and relevant systems.
See our development processDefine the work.
Then agree the price.
A focused workflow, pilot or discovery conversation gives both teams a useful basis for discussing the engagement.
Operations support
Scope, volume, complexity, response requirements, systems, frequency, hours, reporting and approvals determine pricing.
Software development
Requirements, features, user roles, integrations, data migration, design, testing, hosting requirements, handover and maintenance or support scope determine pricing.
What working together can look like.
What does a Remote Operations Partner do?
Astrino takes responsibility for an agreed recurring workflow, such as customer enquiries, quote follow ups, service administration or content publishing. We define the tasks, access, approvals and reporting together, then handle that work remotely.
Is Astrino a virtual assistant company?
Astrino is a remote operations company. The focus is an agreed workflow with clear responsibilities, quality checks and escalation, rather than a general list of personal or ad hoc tasks.
What type of work can Astrino handle?
Customer, sales, service, finance administration, data and reporting, ecommerce and content work can all be discussed. Astrino also develops practical business software, either independently or alongside operational support.
Can Astrino work with our existing systems?
Yes, wherever practical. We assess your tools, permissions and process before agreeing the work. A software integration is a separate technical question and depends on available APIs and platform restrictions.
Do we need to outsource an entire department?
No. You can agree a focused part of a process while your team keeps the remaining work and decision making.
Can we start with one workflow?
Yes. A defined workflow or pilot is a useful starting point. We agree the scope, responsibilities and review criteria before considering additional work.
Does Astrino replace our employees?
Astrino adds capacity around the work your team already does. You decide how responsibilities are divided; your people retain the decisions and delivery that belong with them.
Can Astrino work with businesses outside South Africa?
Yes. Astrino is based in South Africa and serves businesses internationally. Working hours, time zone overlap, communication and response expectations are agreed for each engagement.
How is pricing determined?
Operations pricing depends on scope, volume, complexity, systems, frequency, hours, reporting and response requirements. Software pricing depends on requirements, features, roles, integrations, migration, design, testing and handover. We define the work before agreeing a price.
Does Astrino use AI?
Technology, including AI where appropriate and agreed, can support delivery. Work is human reviewed, and access, handling of information, quality checks and approval rules are agreed with the client.
Can Astrino help with blog writing and SEO content?
Yes. Support can include researched articles, service pages, content updates, briefs, calendars, internal linking recommendations, metadata and publishing within the agreed scope.
Does Astrino guarantee SEO rankings?
No. Search performance depends on factors outside our control. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, keyword positions or revenue.
Does Astrino develop custom software?
Yes. We can discuss web applications, mobile applications, portals, dashboards and internal tools built around a defined business requirement.
Can we commission software without an operations support engagement?
Yes. Software development can be commissioned as a standalone project. Operational support and software development have separate scopes and deliverables.
Can Astrino improve an existing application?
Possibly. Existing applications require assessment, authorised access and a review of the technology, code, dependencies and change required before a scope can be agreed.
Can new software connect to our existing systems?
Integration feasibility depends on the relevant systems, available APIs, permissions, platform restrictions and agreed technical scope. Compatibility is assessed before it is promised.
Who owns the software and source code?
Ownership, intellectual property, licensing and source code arrangements are agreed in the project contract. These terms should be clear before development begins.
Are hosting and maintenance included?
Hosting, third party costs, maintenance and ongoing support are separately defined. They are not automatically included in either an operations fee or a development project.
How long does a software project take?
Delivery timelines depend on scope, complexity, integrations, dependencies and client reviews. A schedule is agreed after the requirements are understood.
How do we get started?
Tell us what is taking up your team’s time or what you want a tool to help people do. We use that conversation to define a workflow, pilot or software discovery scope.
What could you take off your team’s plate?
Start with one recurring workflow, or a business tool you wish worked better.
